A grievance is an allegation by a nurse or a group of nurses that there has been a violation or misapplication of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, which occurred during the term of this Agreement.

If we are dealing specifically with a contract misinterpretation, then the grievance process is the best process to use.  The grievance process is also great for getting information that the employer has refused to provide.  

A grievance is NOT the best process to use if the issue is one of the following:
